ABOUT US
GoPermit is a strong group of industry professionals who thrive on challenges. As we all know there is no school for this type of work. We pride ourselves on having a team environment where everyone's opinions, backgrounds, and experiences are heard and used to meet the site-specific challenges of your project.
We understand that each client's branding is unique and that code often lags behind the newest industry innovations. Municipal staff are instructed to read and enforce the code as written with interpretation being up to the individual. Because of this, we take the time to reach each individual reviewer to discuss the code and to work together in a way that benefits you, the customer. We enjoy educating municipalities on the latest signage technology and working with them in order to bridge the gap between municipalities and national businesses.
Online permitting is now the industry standard. GoPermit has made it our priority to learn, navigate, and understand all the various quirks and technical requirements of each jurisdiction’s online system and process.
GoPermit started as a sign permit expeditor, but we have branched out into construction permits including, but not limited to, interior and exterior build-outs, roofs, parking lots, fences, and more.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Jen has been permitting in the sign industry for over 20 years. 15 of those years were with 2 national sign companies before taking a chance on herself. She started her career on Long Island, New York, and then relocated to South Florida. During her time at the national sign companies, she learned all sign types, and how signs were manufactured, installed, permitted, and inspected. On top of this, she worked as a project manager gaining experience overseeing the entire process.
One of Jen's most notable successes was traveling to California and obtaining over 100 permits in a few short weeks for a national client when no other expeditors were able to do so. Along with that, she has traveled nationally attending and presenting at variance meetings, and has an extremely successful track record.
Creating her own company, GoPermit, has been the most amazing, challenging, and rewarding thing that she has ever done, and she looks forward to helping the industry continue to grow.
Jen finds fulfillment in spending quality time in nature and with the important people in her life. She uses gardening and renovating her home as a creative outlet.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Patience has been in the sign industry for 7 years. She began her career doing code research nationally and ultimately segued into permitting using the specific knowledge gained from years of research. Patience has permitted projects nationally and specializes in Miami Sign Warrants, Municipality Board Reviews, Variances, and other non-standard signage requests.
In her free time, Patience enjoys being creative through crafting, home projects, and landscaping. She is a well-seasoned traveler and aspires to live in Japan.

Cassidy's interest peaked in the sign industry through her friendship with Patience and she took the leap to pursue a career with us. Her strong project management skills help to ensure all timelines are efficiently met and no details are overlooked.
Cassidy is high energy and enjoys being active; on the weekends you can find her hiking, snowboarding, playing tennis, and taking her dog, Finn, for long walks.

Jessica comes to GoPermit with a great eagerness to learn about the inner workings of the sign industry.
